2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX 10R Specs and Review

2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R
When passion and technology merge, great literbikes are born — including the 2012 Ninja® ZX™-10R. Overhauled just last year, the 2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R bristles with the newest technology, including Sport-Kawasaki Traction Control, elevating it above all others in its class. Kawasaki engineers created an engine that produces an astounding amount of horsepower, yet maintains the realibility Kawasaki is known for. All of this technology only enhances the already incredible speed and intense feeling a rider gets while aboard a ZX-10R.

Kawasaki have released pics and specs of the 2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R and the new bike looks pretty hot. The 2012-spec bike gets traction control and ABS (optional), and both of these are supposed to be ‘intelligent’ systems that ‘allow optimum wheelspin while enhancing rider control.
Sophisticated and customizable Kawasaki Sports traction using the riders harness and exploit ZX-10R mix of power and incredible handling. The system is called the traction control Kawasaki Sport, or S-KTRC. Only the 2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, high performance, which raises the ZX on the open class sport bikes. About the ZX-10R’s ‘Sport-Kawasaki Traction Control’ (S-KTRC) system, Kawasaki claim it’s a ‘highly sophisticated electronic system based on actual Kawasaki MotoGP experience that’s designed to maximize forward motion by allowing racers to ride closer to the edge of traction. The system crunches a wide range of data, including throttle position, wheel speed, engine rpm, wheel slippage and acceleration, with help from a speed sensor fitted to each wheel. The quickest acceleration requires a certain amount of wheel slippage, so to optimize traction, S-KTRC actually allows for optimum wheelspin.’
The S-KTRC system offers three different modes of operation, which riders can select according to surface conditions, rider preference and skill level: Level 1 for max-grip track use, Level 2 for intermediate use, and Level 3 for slippery conditions. An LCD graph on the instrument cluster displays how much electronic intervention is occurring in real time and a thumb switch on the left handlebar pod allows simple, on-the-go mode changes.
The Engine has not undergone significant changes and still generate power of 200.1 PS at 13,000 rpm with a torque peak at 114,3 Nm at 11,500 rpm. Chassis geometry offers excellent stability and handling quickness. The front end geometry – with rake at 25 degrees and trail at 107mm (4.21 in.) – allows light, quick handling and complements the engine’s controllable power and the frame and swingarm’s flex characteristics.
Highly advanced suspension at both ends helps as well. Up front is a 43mm open-class version of the Big Piston Fork (BPF). Featuring a piston design nearly twice the size of a conventional cartridge fork, the BPF offers smooth action, less stiction, light weight and enhanced damping performance on the compression and rebound circuits. This compliance results in more control and feedback for the rider – just what you need when carving through a rippled sweeper at your local track or negotiating a decreasing-radius corner on your favorite backroad.
Suspension duties on the ZX-10R are handled by a Horizontal Back-Link design that positions the shock and linkage above the swingarm. Benefits include mass centralization, good road holding, compliance and stability, smooth action in the mid-stroke and good overall feedback. The fully adjustable shock features a piggyback reservoir and dual-range (low- and high-speed) compression damping.
Most of the above sounds interesting and we’re sure the 2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is one smoking-hot superbike.

2011 Kawasaki Ninja 250R Specs News and Review

For those beginning their two-wheeled journey, the Ninja® 250R sportbike has always been a great option to start. Its low seat height and peppy engine translate into hours of fun for both novices and veterans. Though its engine may be compact, its eight-valve cylinder head means a rider can wring every bit of enjoyment from each twist of the throttle, from idle to redline. And with sharp styling that matches its supersport siblings, the Ninja 250R looks fast even while standing still. Best of all, the 250R is a great value, with an affordable purchase price and excellent fuel economy.

The fun begins with its 249cc liquid-cooled engine that thrives on high-rpm excitement. The parallel-twin is tuned for peppy power delivery that’s both smooth and predictable, making for a beginner friendly motorcycle. A silky-smooth six-speed transmission lets riders exploit the 250R’s powerband from that low-end grunt to the crowd pleasing and lively top-end rush. Just like the supersports, it uses petal disc brakes. And the lightweight Ninja provides plenty of entertainment from the initial learning curve to beyond.
Wrapping the 250R are the fairing and windscreen that not only look great, but deliver wind protection for a wide range of riding situations. An easy-to-read instrument panel with fuel gauge and neutral indicator is another convenient feature for the new rider.
A natural riding position and comfortable ergonomics combine with lightweight handling, easy controllability and great throttle response for pure pleasure on city streets. Part of this great handling and stability comes from the 17-inch wheels. Bringing the show to a stop are the large petal-shaped 290mm front rotors and a single 220mm rear rotor gripped by powerful two-piston hydraulic calipers. Like Kawasaki’s other Ninja models, the 250R is equipped with quality components and tuned for class-leading performance.

2013 Kawasaki ER 4n ABS

Currently a lot of the latest Kawasaki motorcycle, Kawasaki ER-4n now will come with a version of ABS, because the previous version did not use the ABS system. 2013 Kawasaki ER-4N ABS did not undergo revision on the engine, chassis and design. Stay with superior engine, the engine ER400BE 400cc, 2-cylinder, DOHC, fuel injection, liquid cooled. Engine can catapult power up to 44hp at 9500rpm and 37Nm of torque at 7500rpm.

2013 Kawasaki ER-4n ABS price is 669,000 yen, 70,000 yen more expensive than the previous model (non-ABS). Weight in 2013 Kawasaki ER-4n ABS increased to 203 kg.

Honda VTR250 Competitors of Kawasaki Ninja ZX250R

Honda VTR250Honda VTR250
Kawasaki Ninja ZX250RKawasaki Ninja ZX250R

At first, manufacturers have been producing Honda VTR 250 in 1997 when the market is increasingly targeted at the domestic production for the Japanese market. And after all these years, the Honda VTR 250 eventually exported overseas, especially to Europe with the course design tailored to the desires of local consumers.

So Honda VTR 250 was made of this. With the aim to make it look sexy and powerful tight, this new motor using V-Twin engine 90 degrees, and 4 valve liquid-cooled. Here there is no difference between the bore and stroke it with previous versions, VTR 250 Interceptor 1989-1990 sold in America.

And it seems the two motors are increasingly using the same machine. It was perceived as sufficient capital to compete with the motor manufacturer, Kawasaki, Ninja 250 R. As is well known that the VTR 250 Honda engine has a power equivalent engine Kawasaki Ninja 250 R, which is about 30 hp at maximum torque 10,500 rpm.

Yet there has been no official confirmation of the price for Honda VTR 250 in Europe. If the manufacturer Honda really intend this to menarungkan motorcycle Kawasaki Ninja ZX 250 R, its likely there will be a price range around USD 5900 or USD 64 million or more (excluding taxes)

Kawasaki ER6N

Kawasaki ER6N
Dont love with the fairing, Kawasaki Motors also made ER6n, which has the base engine same with Ninja 650R. Fairing absence will cut the weight of motors and Of course the price ($ 400), although without the fairing, the design of the head lamp and radiator Shroud valor enough in my opinion. Get ER6n and compete with the Ninja 650R and name Hornet?

Super Futuristic, Super Fast, Super Fun
The aesthetic showcase begins with a low-mount front cowl that slopes back radically, highlighting the Z’s prow and, behind it, an adjustable instrument cluster featuring a multifunction LCD display covered by a trick-looking orange lens. It’s a thoroughly athletic shape, one sure to garner attention wherever it’s ridden.

The design allows a narrow mid-section, which fosters a high degree of rider comfort and feedback in addition to keeping weight low and chassis rigidity high. A solid-mount handlebar and aluminum footpegs lifted from the Ninja® ZX-10R contribute to the Z1000’s quality, top-shelf feel. Brakes? 2012 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Vaquero ABS Review

2012 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Vaquero ABS Review
Cool, low, long, ultra stylish – all these adjectives fit the Vulcan® 1700 Vaquero™ plus one more – plenty functional. Luxurious chrome accents (engine guards, exhaust, mirrors, etc.) provide a beautiful counterpoint to the glossy paintwork, but it’s perhaps the multi-textured blacked-out engine and chassis treatment that best highlights the Vaquero’s radical aesthetic look. The engine, air-cleaner cover, wheels, fork assembly and tank cover all get the blackout treatment, which gives the bike a true custom look that’s beautiful and menacing at once. It all starts with the Vaquero’s 1,700cc liquid-cooled V-twin, which powers all four Vulcan 1700 models – Voyager®, Classic, Nomad™ and Vaquero. Vaquero’s throttle valve system works with the advanced electronic fuel injection to optimize engine response without detracting from its distinctive V-twin throb. The system offers a natural throttle feel, because the APS is activated by a throttle body pulley connected by cables to the throttle grip. Vaquero also features a water-cooled alternator that produces a staggering 46.8 amps of electrical output – plenty to power a selection of electronic accessories that enrich motorcycle travel.

Additional touring acumen shines through the engine’s six-speed transmission with overdriven 5th and 6th gears, which contributes to a relaxed ride and excellent fuel economy at highway speeds. Nine-spoke cast aluminum flat-black wheels hold fat, 130/90 front and 170/70 radial tires that offer light handling characteristics, superb traction and long life. Braking hardware consists of dual 300mm front discs with twin-piston calipers and a 300mm rear disc with a two-piston caliper.

2012 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Nomad Review

2012 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Nomad Review
Embodying classic American style, the Vulcan® 1700 Nomad™ can be the perfect companion for touring or just cruising down the boulevard. The key to the Nomad’s considerable flexibility is its blend of touring-oriented hardware and the uniquely designed Vulcan 1700 platform, which offers a ton of versatility and performance whether in Voyager, Classic or Nomad configuration.

More useful technology is found in the Nomad’s fully Electronic Throttle Valve system. The system utilizes an Accelerator Position Sensor (APS) and a Throttle Position Sensor (TPS). The system offers a natural throttle feel, because the APS is activated by a throttle body pulley connected by cables to the throttle grip. The Nomad’s electronic cruise control system is conveniently operated from the right handlebar, and can be engaged at any speed between 30 and 85 mph in any of the top four gears. Adding to the light and easy handling are suspension components that match the Vulcan 1700 Nomad’s intended usage. An elegantly simple rear swingarm with twin air-assisted shocks provides 3.1 inches of rear suspension travel, and features air spring preload and four-way rebound adjustment. The Nomad rolls on nine-spoke cast wheels fitted with tubeless tires: a 130/90 front and 170/70 rear are mounted. Dual 300mm front disc brakes with twin-piston calipers and a 300mm rear disc brake with a two-piston caliper help bring this stylish machine to sure, powerful stops.

2012 Kawasaki KX85 Review

The engine bay features some factory-like tricks of its own, including an electrofusion-coated cylinder with a narrow squish band, a large-volume combustion chamber to boost top-end power, and a 28mm Keihin carburetor featuring a crescent-shaped slide that positions the needle closer to the intake ports, optimizing fuel atomization and delivering smoother fuel delivery throughout the powerband. Further enhancing the KX85’s tractable power are the Kawasaki Integrated Power-valve System (KIPS®) and tuned exhaust pipe that provides better drive out of corners and a linear power delivery for young riders of varying skill levels.
Kawasaki also offers a comprehensive contingency program for amateur and professional riders who place well at designated events.
