HARLEY-DAVIDSON PROTOTYPE DEBUTS AT INTERMOT

Cologne, Germany (October 10, 2006) - Harley-Davidson revealed a prototype Sportster XR 1200 motorcycle aimed at the European market today at the INTERMOT International Motorcycle Show in Cologne, Germany. The XR 1200 prototype places an emphasis on performance and handling with styling inspired by the Motor Companys legendary XR 750 dirt track racer.

Created with the demands of the European market in mind, the XR 1200 prototypes development goals include a powerful air-cooled V-Twin engine, agile handling, and high performance suspension and brakes.

"As Harley-Davidson seeks to further grow its presence and sales in Europe, INTERMOT and subsequent major European events will be used to carefully evaluate media and public reaction to the XR 1200 prototype," said John Russell, Vice President, Harley-Davidson Europe. "If the prototype is well received, we hope to bring the XR 1200 to Europe in 2007."

The Sportster XR 1200 Prototype features:
- XR 750-inspired styling
- 1200cc air-cooled V-Twin with downdraft fuel injection (85-90 HP target)
- Specially tuned Showa suspension with 43mm inverted front forks
- High performance four-piston caliper Nissin brakes
- Unique lightweight cast wheels with dirt track-inspired design

Specially developed Dunlop Qualifier tires:

Rear 180/55ZR17

The New 2013 Ducati Multistrada 1200


Good news for all you of Ducati lovers, now present the latest version of the Ducati Multistrada. 2013 Ducati Multistrada get improvements, and has applied innovative suspension, the new semi-active suspension system for ride comfort.

Now the highest variance for a replacement Ducati Multistrada 1200S is Ducati Multistrada 1200S Granturismo and also available version of the Ducati Multistrada Pikes Peak.

Are there any new features? of course, has been supported by the features of Riding Mode System, electronic suspension, and switchable Ducati Traction Control system (DTC).

2012 Ducati Multistrada 1200

The Testastretta 11° is an engine for all environments and the perfect ‘game-changer’ for the four-bikes-in-one concept. The gearbox and final drive ratios have also been optimised to enable reduced fuel consumption and achieve increased riding comfort by reducing vibration. If the 1198 Superbike reaches its top speed in 6th gear, the Multistrada 1200 is able to reach it in 5th gear and maintain it effortlessly in 6th.

Even the Multistrada 1200’s exhaust tail pipes are a feature that perfectly demonstrates this concept. The internal structure of the silencer is designed to achieve the characteristic Ducati sound without compromising compliance with sound and hydrocarbon emission standards (Euro3).

The fuel tank has been developed using a new moulding technology which enables a favourable balance between capacity and weight. Subject to riding style, the 20 litre (5.3 gallon US) capacity can provide up to 400km (250 mile) of motorcycle pleasure between fuel stops by returning approximately 47mpg (US) (56mpg UK) at a constant 75mph (120km/h).
